It seems like video games are becoming the give-away du jour for talk shows nowadays. The latest is Ellen DeGeneres, who gave away a Wii before it launched. This time around she's handing out Xbox 360 gift packs. While it's quasi-interesting to know celebs are giving games to their audience, this particular piece of news does have some direct value to you.
Ellen decided to also give out 25 of the gift packs to people who register to win through her site.
The pack includes an Xbox 360, a one-year script to Live, Viva Pinata, Xbox Live Arcade Unplugged, Cars, Madden NFL 07 and Lego Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy. The winners will also get an Audiovox XM receiver, a Ticketmaster gift card and the Superman Ultimate Collector's Edition movie.box set.
With just 25 winners, the odds are fairly bad, but let us know if you win.
Ellen's 12 Days of Christmas [Ellen]

I'll use my "Tickermaster" gift card to see a show at the "Knicketbocker" arena.
*rimshot*
They actually have a ton of verification methods, so some people might be too stupid/forgetful to follow-up, there insignificantly increasing the odds. Oh yeah, 1:45,000 now instead of 1:46,000
Is that Cameron Diaz as a brunette with her?!
If it was in her 12 days of Christmas everyone in the audience gets one too.
So, Dr. Phil had the Wii, Ellen has the 360, does this mean Oprah will be handing out PS3s?
"So, Dr. Phil had the Wii, Ellen has the 360, does this mean Oprah will be handing out PS3s?"
She's the only one who can afford to.
I am not very interested in the Ellen show getting my email address or even opening a page with a song playing as horrible as that.
Down with Webpages with auto-playing sound!
I wouldn't risk Oprah handing out defective grills.
Cameron diaz used to be smokin'... feeling minnesota was only watchable for her hotness. But she's just hideous now, like an anorexic troll or something. Sad panda. :(
well i put my shot in the dark in. even though i own a 360 i need another one. Ever since i bought Viva Pinata for my wife i never get to play. hell i guess i should be happy my wife is gaming again.
But, but, Oprah gives away cars!
Damn. I can never participate in these damn giveaways. It's always the same thing, "eligibility you have to be resident of one of the 50 united states blah blah blah"
Well, that sucks.
Just to clarify the contest:
It says right there on the sign-up:
"Each day, we will randomly choose 25 lucky viewers to win these gifts! Just fill in the form below to be eligible. You may only enter your name once a day!"
So it's not *only* 25 winners. It's 25 winners *each day*, for a total of 12 days. You can enter your name once a day. So that's a total of 300 XBox360 packs the show is giving out.
Oh, I also just found out that today is "Day 10" of the 12 day giveaway, so there are only 75 potential packs left.
"Ellen - 12Days - Day10 - 12-13-06 "
No way is that d*** getting my contact info!
Man I'd love to shag Ellen.
And yes, of course I know, but let's be honest, it's not as if she was hetero I'd suddenly have a chance, is it?
If I'm gonna fanatsise about bumping uglys, then I'm gonna fanatsise about bumping uglys with a lesbetarian.
@ oddbalz
lol tolerance.
who is that hottie on the left?? I know **** about celebs.
OK, EWWWWWW. Look at her arms. it's like they shriveled up and died.
I guess the Wii-mote was too phallic for Ellen.
@ MaxSteele
you dont have three days to win... the 25 prizes given out corresponds to the show that airs that day. thursday and friday will have different giveaways. indeed, only 25 xbox packages will be given out.
and note that you choose whether or not they can send you anything else on that e-mail address. And if you win, it's worth a few annoying e-mails anyways
I'd rather be on Dr. Phil and get the Wiis... he gave out how many? To everyone in his audience!!!
Dang...
Even though i dont like her or the show it's still a chance to win a 360, so theres really nothing to lose.
Ahh! Make the music stop! Bad! Bad Ellen!
And a big boooo for not accepting Canadian entries. We legalized gay marriage, after all.
