Can't be bothered to preorder a PS3 yourself? We can't blame you: preorders or not, you're definitely not getting one at launch. Still, some intrepid eBay entrepreneur has preordered a PS3 and is willing to sell you that preorder for the astonishing sum of $2000.

For Auction: Release date proposed for November 2006- Brand New PlayStation 3 Game Console. I have the order processed and will receive this System the day of release. I am selling my PS3 to you.

Very limited number being released, less than Xbox 360.

We can't wait until the sucker who actually buys this realizes that preorders no longer actually imply a promise of first day delivery. Also, that it isn't some magical alchemical process - anyone can preorder something. Actually getting it onto your grubby mitts on launch day, though? Probably going to take, at the very least, your girlfriend waiting outside of the store with you on Launch Midnight in her sluttiest duds.
