Not a day after the announcement and EBGameStop is already on point, ready to start racking up the preorders for Harmonix's Rock Band. Not only do they list the game for the PS3 and the Xbox 360, the also list accessories for each version, along with potential prices.
They list guitar controllers for $59.99, a $40 microphone, and a drum set that comes in at $79.99. If you figure in two guitars (for bass) that's $240 for a full set, on top of $60 for the game. They also list a wireless guitar for $80, though since they have a listing for both the PS3 and the 360 they either know something we don't about Microsoft's no third party wireless policy changing, or they're full of shit.
I'm leaning towards uninformed BS here on GameStop's part. "Get something into the computer so we can start pushing the game!" sort of thing. Still an interesting insight into how much Rock Band could end up costing hopeful livingroom rock stars when the game launches at the end of these year.
