EA aren't satisfied buying all of North America and Western Europe. No, they must consume more continents. Starting with Asia.
They've just bought a 19% share in Chinese online gaming operator The9 that set them back USD$200 million. The move will see The9 carrying more EA sports games on their service (they recently picked up FIFA Online), while giving EA the chance to introduce the Chinese to the concept of endless annual updates to existing franchises. Good times ahead, China!
