
More than a year after computer programmers sued Electronic Arts over the company's overtime compensation policies, the two groups have settled.
Electronic Arts sent out a press release confirming that they will pay $14.9 million to former and current programmers. This is the second lawsuit that EA settled. In October EA paid out $15.6 million to graphic artists because of overtime issues.
The settlement also means that about 200 software positions will now be eligible for OT. Looks like the suit may have a lasting impact on the industry afterall.
