What's this? Have I awakened on the Bizarro World today? EA giving away downloadable content gratis? After low rent moves such as selling in-game tutorials and virtual cash via Xbox Live, it seems that EA is finally giving away something for free. This isn't just some pissant little theme either.
Starting tomorrow, November 30th, Xbox Live users and owners of Madden NFL 07 and NCAA Football 07 can download (at no cost) new, alternate uniforms for both and "throwback" uniforms for Madden. Did I mention these were free?
Pretty smart, EA. Don't start pissing off the userbase of your biggest cash cow. We'd appreciate more of this sort of behavior in the future.
