Gang banging's back! Granted, it was never quite gone here in Kotaku Tower... a nice illustrating diagram would be the befuddlement on Reggie Fils-Aime's face when Crecente — wearing a voluminous pair of jeans and shooting refracted lasers all around the room off of his diamond-encrusted bling — picked up the Revolution controller for the first time and asked, "So it's like poppin' a gat?"

All the more reason that we're so excited that Rockstar has finally announced the inevitable Grand Theft Auto 4 for the 360 and Playstation 3, but depressingly not the Wii. Release is Oct. 16, 2007, in North America and Oct. 19, 2007, in Europe. Pay attention, boys and girls: it's coming out on the XBoxfirst this time around.

No other details have been announced yet, except the interesting news that GTA4 episodic content will be available on Live, expanding the game further after release. Let's hope Rockstar don't try to sell us $2 leopard print Voodoo skins.
