Now that Guild Wars Factions has been out for a few weeks, NCSoft spills the beans to us about the next Guild Wars expansion. Apparently, they've just enacted a plan to pump out two expansions a year, with the next one coming around the Holiday Season.

The new game will be set in a North African environment, with appropriate new costume options and mobs to match. New classes should also be expected.

Instead of a single team working on a 6 month product cycle, which is ball-crunchingly difficult, they have two teams working on a 12 month product cycle. This means the Guild Wars: Factions team will be making the the next, next expansion.
