Yup, It's A Final Fantasy 12 Revenant Wings DS

Here's the drill: Big, popular game is released on DS. Before the sale date, it's announced that a special engraved DS Lite version of the game will be bundled with the software. People buy it. The end.

For ¥21,840 (US $180), Square-Enix's Final Fantasy 12 Revenant Wings gets the Lite treatment with a "Sky Pirates" bundle that includes above-mentioned DS and the software. You know, I am going to go out on a limb and say that another such bundle just *might* be released when Dragon Quest IX hits. Ballsy prediction, eh?

i always liked how nintendo's special ed. ds's always were pretty simple. just a few simple graphics with a few colors. they're pretty good about keeping things less gaudy than what they could be

I don't know, the image on it is kind of ugly, they definitely could've done better.

But thats probably only going to stop like 2 people from picking it up, maybe they'll just show up decide they don't like the FFXII version but still buy another DS and the game.

Get the Onyx. I'd bet that in some point in the future Nintendo will introduce more colors, but who knows when that will be. Black attack FTW.

With a ballsy prediction like that, we don't even need the analysts that sayd the PS3 might see a software drop and maybe some new games coming in teh future!

Refer to my comment on the Black Austrialian 360 for my opinion on this matter.

It seems to go against all logic to spend resources releasing special DS's in a country where they'll still be sold out if the only design was Osama Bin Laden, instead of enticing people in countries who don't have as big of a DS fever to buy two or three units each.
