It'd be nice if they put them on the other way around, so it wouldn't be upside when you're actually using the thing.

They do look great. I just wish they did them the other way around so when the DS is open the image isn't upside down to people you're facing.

Thats cheating! They print out an image, then stick it to the back of a bunch of clear beads. Then stick that to a DS. I might be able to reproduce that!

Its the one of Yoshi seemingly mooning the unsuspecting person on the other side of the DS, while an innocent Baby rides on his back no less, that I find disconcerting

In my opinion, I rather have a lazer-etched image adorning my DS, then Swarovski Crystals. To be totally honest, I'd like an image that lights up with a colored glow of your choice whenever the DS is on, the same way you got that Apple lit up on Mac Books.

......I swear i saw these at my local target last week saying "This week only get a DS lite and get a free crystallized cover"...the designs were different, but they were high quality looking, just Mario's face on the right of the DS, black DS has Mario with black crystals, white DS has clear crystals and pink has princess peach with pink crystals......why didn't i buy mine then...

Link one looks kinda cool... but for some reason, since the crystals make it all bumpy and rough.. it kinda turns me off of it. Maybe if they made a smooth but equally shiny and sparkly one (if thats somehow possible) then id want one.

or if it was diamonds instead of crystals.

8-bit Triforce woulda been perfect on the DS Lite, and these things put my poor printout taped on cover to big time shame...

Do the "bedazzlers" actually work on non-fabric stuff? I've seen a coupla commercials about it and it looks like it needs to pierce whatever it's attached to.

I wonder if Faberge might do something like this..

No, you can't do that with a Bedazzler! o_O They look like they were done by Crystal Icing. They are painted underneath, but the crystals are still placed individually by hand. They're not "clear beads", the painting makes the big gaps between the crystals less noticeable so they can do more freeform designs like that. From what I've heard the crystals fall off more when they're painted.

I studded a DS for a friend and it was only $80 in crystals but it took about 10 hours. It would probably take much longer and not look all that great if you'd never done it before though.

I'm just happy with my over-priced Japanese Light Blue DS I bought there a few weeks ago.
