I'm bringing my Playstation 2 and Guitar Hero to work with me today. I need to try hooking it up to the TV at the Denver Press Club tonight just to make sure everything is going to work OK before my dealio there next week.

In case you didn't see the post last week, I'll be guest bartending along with Buzzcut's Dave Thomas (founder of the IGJA) at the Denver Press Club on Wednesday, Jan 18 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. You'll have to be 21 or older to join the fun, but if you are, make sure you stop. I know at least one reader says he's bringing his own GH guitar.

I'm hoping to get be able to whip up some game-related drinks as well.

Drink recipes after the jump:

Super Mario Sunshine
1 oz grenadine
2 oz tequila
2 oz grapefruit juice (yellow sun! Yellow sun!)

Shake the tequila and grapefruit juice over ice and pour into a lowball glass. Carefully pour the grenadine down the side of the glass so it settles in the bottom. Add a splash of Tabasco if you re insane, or you just want to shoot fireballs.

Indigo Prophecy s Schizophrenic Story Line
1 oz Everclear
3 oz J germeister
Cranberry juice

Shake the Everclear and J ger in a mixer and pour over ice in a highball glass. Fill with cranberry juice. If this doesn t cause you to wake up in a bathroom covered in blood, I ve failed you as a long-distance bartender.

The Kotaku Blue
2 parts Blue Cura ao
2 parts Blue Sapphire Gin

Add the Cura ao to the gin in a large snifter.

We're still trying to track down the recipe for the Red Piano's Tomb Raider Cocktail. (Any help would be much appreciated.) Let me know if you can think of any other gamer drinks.
