Continuing the long march from intriguing virtual experiment to ad-clogged virtual shopping center, Second Life has scored a new merchant. Dell recently announced that they too are going to sell their stuff in the faux game.
Starting this week you can hop on over to the virtual 64-acre Dell Island where you will be able to check out Dell products in 3d, build your own systems and even order your own real world systems. Maybe I'm old fashioned, but isn't that what we used to call a store?
