Despite fears that Electronic Arts NFL monopoly would lead to an over-priced Madden, it looks like the company is sort of going the other direction, offering up a sweet bonus for people who preorder the game.

People who preorder Madden NFL 2006 will get a free copy of ES Sports Fantasy Football Commissioner service, which EA says is worth $49.99. The service is basically a fantasy football league with some extras like being able to track fantasy stats, news and trade offers through Madden 2006. The service also includes EA Sports Edge, which helps optimize starting lineups, and MaddeView, which lets you use the video game to try and predict the outcome of games.

To land your free copy of EA Sports Fantasy Football you ll need to preorder you copy of Madden through EA s online store, EBGames, or GameStop.

Madden sidelines stores on August 8 for everything(but the PSP).
