Tomorrow's the Fourth of July. As much as I respect what it stands for, I've never been able to really get into the spirit of the holiday. It just doesn't move me. And the fireworks, they're always a let down. And I've seen them in DC. Tomorrow I plan to drink great quantities of alcohol and do a bunch of sitting around staring off into the shimmering heat waves that have come to epitomize this summer in Denver.
