I spent the day home today so I could devote a big chunk of it to Command & Conquer 3. I've got to review it for the Rocky and several other outlets by next week, and needed to get through a lot of gameplay. Despite the fact that I love RTS and love C&C, I still found myself playing way too much Puzzle Quest. Damn this game.

So my wife and son made these really cool "stained-glass" cookies by melting Jolly Ranchers and putting them in the middle of cookies. Very neat stuff. The cookies were downstairs cooling off while I was playing C&C3 today. After awhile I noticed that I kept hearing the dog door open and close.
Open and close, short delay, open and close, long delay, open and close, short delay.
This happened like five times before I suddenly jumped out of my chair, ran downstairs and caught my greyhound in the act of carrying off her fifth cookie to be devoured in the back yard. And she would have gotten away with it if she weren't being so damn, I don't know, dainty about it.
