At EB they told us to take has much preorder for the legendary edition that we could take... even if we're gonna receive around 10-15 per stores. We are at 30++ right now...

Gotta love that startlingly efficient EB strategy. The store gets the presale numbers, the gamers get nothing on launch day. If that's a widespread strategy being used by Gamestops AND EBs...there's gonna be rioting on September 25th.

As for me, I preordered the game (just the collector's edition, my cats would probably kill me if I tried to put the helmet on either one!) back in May over the internet, so I'd be guaranteed a copy AND not have to wait in line. Next day shipping, whee.

I don't own a cat or plan on acquiring the Legendary Edition... but I still think the helmet is cool.

I had the Legendary reserved but changed it a few months ago because i'm really not that much of a collector. I just want to play the game.

Either way silly or not. I got the Legendary edition. I wanted it so I preordered it and paid for it. But they better have them in stock on midnight launch or there will be hell to pay. I do not care if I needed it or not, I wanted it. Plus so did my cat.

It's truly one of the worst limited editions ever, especially considering the price. When it was $100 it was too much. At $130 it's just absurd. They need to talk to Blizzard about how to make a good limited edition.

For an extra $60 over the "Collector's Edition" you should be getting a bonus disc with like 15 exclusive multiplayer maps :p

anyone remember one of the mgs games(i think 2)in japan had a limited edition that costed like $200 and had a metal gear toy and some extra dvds.remember how everyone(my friends) complained that japan got all the limited editions with tiny useless trinkets(dragonwarrior blue gel guy)and that we want them in the US too.well here they are and people still complain.
oh and i dont want a helmet id rather have a master chief figure or a tank or something.

That helmet is going on eBay as soon as I get it. I should be able to get at least $30 for it like I did with the Big Daddy figure.

See, i just want the DVD content. But 130 for just some dvd content and a useless helmet is not worth it. If it was a real helmet it would be a different story. Im still tempted to get the legendary edition though...
