Think Bleach meets Jet Set Radio meets cool-as-fuck. Square Enix (yup) brings us this Nintendo DS exclusive, It's A Wonderful World (Subarashiki Kono Sekai). Mind-reader Neku gets a strange email, giving him a series of missions (most of which seem to take place around 109). The Shibuya native has a time frame of seven days in which to complete them or be erased.

The game first got an airing at this year's TGS and is brought to you by the same team responsible for Kingdom Hearts. Not only does the title look fab, but the combat system is intriguing as well. Neku is joined by Shiki, a dancer. While Neku's battles are controlled with a touch pen on the bottom screen, Shiki's on the upper screen are manipulated by the D-Pad. Both battles take place simultaneously too boot!

It's A Wonderful World hits Japan next year. Nice to see Square mix it up. Brian Ashcraft
