That is the coolest thing ever. Best clip ever
Damn. That was awesome.
No @#$%ing way..... He should have unlocked some kind of achievment for that
..........
Bravo!!
That's what they should show in PiP during that "multi-cultural" Halo 3 Mt. Dew ad
I'm almost speechless. That's like a one in a million chance of getting it.
brilliant!
Saved films feature. Youtube is about to explode....
Very slim chances of that happening. However, that's pretty neat.
I've never wanted Halo 3 before.
This has peaked my interest. Damn you one in a million grenade lobber!
And i thought my sticky on narrows was a cool one :)
The most under-appreciated feature of Halo3 is the Theatre mode... This just shows you how fucking important it is to those of us who love to yell "OH MY GAWD, DID YOU JUST SEE THAT SHIT??? WHAT? NO??? AWW FUCK!"
Halo fans are orgasming left and right over this. I thought it was pretty damn sweet myself.
That has to be one of the most amazing kills ever recorded.Do people just watch replays of every game they play? How did dude know that he fragged him with that plasma and it was so cool?
I thought that Halo3 replay vids were only watchable on a Xbox360. I guess there is a way to get them to a computer.
Reminds me why I don't play Halo online...
During the PAX Omegathon video, I got the impression that Halo 3 was nothing more than "Swords vs. Rocket Launcher"
Now I know better... it's "Swords vs. Rocket Launcher, grenade spam edition"
@jackal888: I believe you can upload your clips to the bungie.net site (I know you can do pictures). Then just use a recording software on your PC.
That nade spam is just bad... Man would I kill you all! Did you see how long it took him to set that throw up? What there is not snipers in this game... wait! it uses analog sticks..LOL it might as well be a final fight game with shotguns...LOL
Glad you guys are loving it though.. GAme on kids!
@scottyboy218: you can upload to bungie server to download to your 360, cant view on PC, wish you could though
Why did it bounce? ...
@chiablo: Yeah, if you play with dicks, play any good ranked match and picking up a sword or rocket launcher = raped from people who actually know how to play...
Honestly, its an amazing kill and still elitest morons come out of the woodwork to find some way to try and put halo 3 down...
That was fucking awesome!
@Mienvard: The airlift pad at the bottom made it fly back up into the air.
---
Yeah I gotta figure out how to offload the vids and get em recorded on my PC, if bungie can somehow get a feature for that too, it would be fucking awesome happytime even more so!
But the replay feature they added has got to be the best thing about Halo 3 hands down. :)
Good show bungie!
@Mienvard: Look at the air it hit on the corner of the building, it's a lift to get up from the ground. Anything you throw in the lifts now get lifted, not just people. Weapons and grenades go up as well. So it hit the air lift, went up a little, then dropped down and stuck to the guy.
O.O
I give it a month before someone figures out how to use the forge to make a rue-goldberg machine with nades in halo
Saw this earlier today. I'm convinced that this is the greatest Halo related thing ever to be witnessed by human eyes.
If we could somehow distill the awesome out of this video, we could use said awesome to feed every third world nation for at least twenty years.
Holy @!#$!@$!!!
Here is the link to the film. Just sign in, and hit "Download to Halo 3" to add it to your queue and later watch it in HD from any angle.
Now that was impressive.
@Runna: Improve your grammar before you call anybody kids.
@Mienvard: It hit an air vent that also affects grenades.
@chiablo: Most levels only have one spawn of either of those. Never had much of a problem with people whoring either in team games.
@Runna:
You can snipe in this game.
Just because you can't use analog sticks doesn't mean others haven't mastered it.
I saw this like a minute before you posted it. Your stalking my computer.
That is fucking awesome.
UNSTOPPABLE. I hope that was on purpose!
Anyone know how to detach the camera in theatre mode? I can never seem to get it to work. It just spins around my avatar. :(
That was a really nice throw but it's more than likely scripted.
@Huginn: Not sure about a rue-golberg machine but I've created an Infinite loop on the map Narrows.
If anyone wants to check it out here is the link: Infinite Loop
WOW!!! Honestly, that was incredible! So cool and a testament to how rich the detail and responsiveness in the game is.
I'm still a little confused as to how the grenade bounced off the wall, hit the air vent, and was pushed to the left, when it was originally heading a different direction. The air vent designed to throw everything in that direction regardless of which way it enters?
Wow.
@WaterMedia:
Y I believe is what it is...
@WaterMedia: Pretty sure it's Y, hit start it or back it tells you all the keys.
@WaterMedia: Press Y to switch between following and free. For more info, there's a very useful foldout behind the game manual that has diagrams of the controls for different game modes, including Theater and Forge.
@ampillion: Yeah, the vent pushes people so that they land roughly around where the grenade ended up.
@watermedia:
Hit the 'Y' button to switch between an attached camera and a free moving one.
@Ampillion:
Plasmas wont stick to walls or floors, so that's why it banked off the wall. The vent does 'curve' things, so that you can use it to get to the ledge above -- if it didn't you would just be stuck floating in mid-air. Bodies don't curve that much, or that far, but because the grenade is so light the force really gave it a good launch.
owned!
lol
@Toasticus: Gotcha. Having not played Halo 3 (yet), I wasn't sure. Knowing that though, definitely a cool (albeit shitty for that red guy) kill.
and this is why halo 3 got such high scores people. i been taking screenshots and sending videso to friends. first 30 mins when i log on i usually have 3 or 4 vids from friends to watch.
i have seen some amazing things. i ahve a video of me getting a double kill with the ghost. these 3 guys were in the bubble shield. i flew into it with the ghost. 2 of the guys jumped one iddn't see me. i hit him flipped the ghost and smashed one of the other guys against a wall with the end of the ghost as i flipped out of control. one of the sweetest things i have seen or done in halo3.
till this video lol
No... effin... way...
Believe
That was one of the coolest things I have seen in a multiplayer game.
Bravo!
I need to DL that one to my 360 now!!!
For the first time in my life, I have no words
that was sooo staged lol
still awsome though
You know that saying "It didn't happen unless you have proof"?
Enter the Halo 3 theatre mode.
And, BTW, you detach your cam with Y.
Rube! Rube!
[en.wikipedia.org]
that is one of the coolest deaths i've ever seen!!!
Hehe, pretty damn nice lucky shot!
/now waits for the internet to implode due to the amount of user clips and movies H3-related.
The record feature WILL provide a constant flood of stuff like this clip here for years, and the only thing that leaves me speechless is the general attention it WILL get, just because it's Halo3.
@Witzbold: Its pretty easy. If you have a video card that has VIVO (video-in/video-out) plug the video out from the 360 to that on the PC. Then let all the software on the PC do the work. Of course there's gonna be no sound but thats another issue...
@Runna: hahahaha
i was thinking the same XD
