?!?
I wish our our german USK would be like that.
"Hear da music,
feel da groove
no more banning
all is smooth!"
well at least we know they're in touch with the youth...right? right guys?!
seriously though - I endorse this kind of nonsense.
It seems Kotaku is in the business of making me speechless. I've only just picked up the pieces of shattered jawbone from the floor. Guess I'd better head over to the hospital for soem reconstructive surgery!
LOL! Gotta admit that,s a pretty original way to introduce yaself! from now on every single company should do the same! ROCK ON!
"MDA Is So Cool"
Haha. Taken out of context that could put GameAxis in a bit of trouble.
Produced by the Beatnuts! haha, this is hellafunny!
WOW... i feel so happy to be living in singapore...
...what...the...funk?
This is EXACTLY the kind of human rights violation that makes me afraid to travel.
BEST MUSIC VIDEO EVA!!!
Asian Rap is horrible but when MDA officials do it, it's so so right.
Why can't the Chinese Government do something like this so they would seem less evil?
I think every damn part of every governing body should have one of these, as a compulsory submission.
IT WOULD BE AWESOME!
P.S. That was sick wicked.
I am almost, almost, speechless with awe.
O_O what the hell did i just watch
oh god...
Hahaha, WIN!!!
What the... this is... I... But, they...
Nah, I got nothing.
O_O
Wow that just made my day so much better for having seen that :)
I'd love political bodies over here to do that(Australia)...come on we have a federal election in 2 days we need dodgy singing campaigning :P
I hope when the dystopian future governments take over, they use stuff like that for the mass indoctrination.
Its actually ... not bad. They probably have 'The Chronic' on rotation in the office ;).
Hehe that certainly made my morning! Hats off to those guys - more governing bodies should convey their message to the youth through the medium of rap :)
We are your friends. Please drink the Kool Aid.It even comes in Cherry and Grape flavors.
pam hu gave me a ride home for thanksgiving. i was the envy of the neighborhood as i pulled up in that beastly hot rod with singapore's mda community & international relations director at the wheel blasting this track. everybody was all like, "oh snap, is that pam hu?! nah it can't be ... it IS!" legendary. this vid is so badass, they themselves may need to censor it. thanks for the ride, pam.
This video scared me. .. It needs a warning on it or something.
M-M-M-M-D-A IS IN DA HOUSE MOTHERFUKAZ!
wow...
I'm at the school computer lab so I had to watch this gem with the sound down. But still, "market trends are my very best friend"? Really something..really something indeed.
I'd like to get high with those guyz
then make some charts
Please stay tuned, next up: Channel X!
Damn I wanted to send kotaku this vid in the morning when I saw it in the newspapers. Haha.
Well... the rap might be horrible, but which other governing body's management would dare to do this? At least it sort of soften MDA's image a little. Maybe Mass Effect's banning and this video are all just a part of a publicity stunt by MDA to garner support for the rating system launching next year? I don't think they seriously had a meeting immediately after they banned the game and decided to un-ban it.
Yes yes y'all! Now how do I transfer this to my ipod
Why. Why is it that when my country decides to do stuff like this they don't ask the next generation how they feel about the whole world's eyes looking at us this way.
What? The Mass Effect no-lesbian debacle not attention grabbing enough?
woh just noticed
cassandra tay is a babe
It is called Singapore, but not one of them can sing.
Americans need something like with out CEO's. we KNOW Steven Ballmer is in!
I'm pretty sure I've just been pwnd.
I'm pretty sure the ESRB has just been pwnd.
Indeed, the World has just been pwnd.
FYI, our politicians get paid a lot more than anyone else's. Glad to see money being put to good use alright... *rolls eyes*.
@Huginn: but not one of them can sing.
Er, um... Sing-a-poor?
I'd totally hit Cassandra Tay, not the fatty though(no fatties!), would maybe hit the other girl.
Kay, so how do I get a job there?
why do they want me to get connected worldwide?
@ansiaaa: So you can rock on!
@Masterpain22: Go to it on Youtube, convert the URL on Zamzar and sync it to your iPod. This is what every country should strive to acheive. Yes yes y'all.
After the making of this video, 44 MDA employees promptly commit suicide in the parking lot, out of shame.
I would say something about how bad this was, but then I have to ask myself, "Should I really expect everyone to be a good rapper?" And the answer is a resounding "YES."
Also, that beat reminded me of a Jedi Mind Tricks song. "Me Ne Shalto," I think.
Well, you *are* all aware that hip-hip was invented in Asia, right?
Here's the proof: [www.youtube.com]
I meant hip-hop, not hip-hip, although that could be a good name for the Asian brand!
HELP! There's a bunch of Asian politicians trying to relate to me!!
I like how they slip in those little one liners like, "control the market" and 'make it easy to pay your fines and dues'...while I appreciate that the government is investing in digital media in a big way, that is one seriously bloated bureaucracy.
A little piece of me just died while watching this video...
It is just sad watching these people, as it resembles watching a 68 year old women in a G-string...and nothing else...
I dare you to imagine that!
I can't tell if I'm scared because they all look like relatives or they are relatives.
I love you, Kotaku. That was so awesome. XD
hah, I like how the one lady basically tried to play off censorship as a "good thing." Very clever!
You know on one hand it's a humorous attempt at being relevant, but on another you have to tip your hat to them for being sort-of-hip without looking too much like fools. If that happened here you'd probably see some Senator all "G'd out," 'cause it helps us relate better. Tch.
I'd have to say that was some of the best dancing I've ever seen! ;)
They have a dificult job, so good to see that they get to step out of the normal stresses of making unilateral decisions, to making unilaterally Kick-ass music videos!
/bellylaugh
O_o sums it up for me.
@sander_dutch: A slightly older yet still incredibly hot Linda Carter it is *imagines*
Heng, the 'Numbers Girl', ripped it.
