Everyone assumed Dave Chappelle's midnight flight from the U.S. to a South African rehab center was a crack-induced plea for help because, you know, crack's a powerful drug. But maybe the addiction Chappelle was trying to flea was World of Warcraft. GameSpot's Tor Thorsen has word that Chappelle talked up the massively multiplayer game at one of his recent San Francisco gigs.

Chappelle, a long time gamer, told the audience that he's been playing a lot of WoW recently and that he's even run into a few in-game alter-egos, like a rogue named I'm Rick James, Bitch.

Ok Chappelle, this is an intervention: Get off your ass, step away from Azeroth and start producing some more episodes of Chappelle's Show. I need something to watch when I get home from work, bitch!
