News from the Bioshock community site, The Cult of Rapture, has it that Bioshock will be getting a Limited Edition boxed set in answer to gamer's requests. Apparently earlier in the week, some community members created an online petition to get the special edition made. The moderators took the idea to the powers that be at 2K who proclaimed that if the the petition got more than 5,000 signatures, the Limited Edition would get made. In less than twenty four hours, over 14,000 people signed the petition and their prayers were answered.
Now the site is asking for people to vote on what they would like to see in the box. You have a choice of several items including: Soundtrack CD, Artbook, Big Daddy figurine, "Making of" DVD, BioShock posters, Upgraded packaging and an Art print with team's signature. The upgraded packaging and making of DVD seem like a given, so my vote is going for either the Art Book or the Big Daddy figurine.
