We have to give it to Bethesda: although initial forays into microcontent for Oblivion were frankly pathetic, they do keep upping the ante with each subsequent release. Something good ought to be imminent.
So is the upcoming Oblivion mission Mehrunes' Razor going to be that imminently good thing? It's the first piece of micrcontent that promises a fully-featured quest, which is really what all Oblivioners are hankering for. " Conquer the largest dungeon in all Cyrodiil!" the bullet list screams.
On a related note, Luke over at 1UP has posted some musings on the constantly escalating cost of owning the "complete" Oblivion. He points out that many people have now dropped upwards of $80 on Oblivion, with no end in site for completists. We have to wonder if anyone is thinking about it this way, though: is your copy of Oblivion really any less complete for not having that horse armor retexturing?
