Does Best Buy know something that we don't? They are offering a number of pre-orders for Playstation 3 games on their home page. It's probably a bit silly to order yourself a game for a console you'll never, ever, ever be able to get at release, but hey! Whoa! Final Fantasy VII!

For right now, we're going to assume they mean Final Fantasy XIII and somehow subtracted a roman numeral VI from the equation. And, as Joystiq points out, retailers don't know what the hell they're talking about when it comes to releases.

Still, cross your fingers: this is a remake many of us would like to get a hold of. Florian Eckhardt
