An email from a reader said despite his Best Buy saying they were sold out of Xbox 360s, that it was still, in fact, selling 360s. The Chelsea, NY reader walked by a line of people 70 deep in front of the store and bought an Xbox 360 and walked out overhearing two Best Buy employees talk about being "sold out." From the email:
Best Buy Employee 1: What's all this about? (gesturing to assembled line)
Best Buy Employee 2: xBox 360
BBE 1: I thought we were sold out.
BBE 2: Yup. (with knowing look)
I know, I know, this is just one anonymous account, and Best Buy already hates our guts, but has anyone out there in Kotaku-land scene anything similar? Or was this an isolated case of "wtf?"
