In the latest Tougekidamashii MAX from Arcadia Magazine, a Japan-only rag, new details on where the venerable Namco fighter is headed are revealed. SD Tekken has the full details, but folks who are looking for something fresh in their Tekken should take note.

All characters have an "item move", like the Bryan shotgun we saw at the AOU trailer. Although not all of them will have the same effectiveness. An example of an "item move" will be Anna throwing her high heels at her opponents.

I wonder if you can pull off fake fingernails before a fight... Anyway!

Fans of Yoshimitsu, my Tekken and Soul Calibur fighter of choice, will probably be up late tonight, sweating the details on his changes. After so much fighting, it seems that "his sword is now losing power and he must take a new fighting style, Kenjutsu from the Manji clan, this includes both dual sword fighting and pure fist fighting."

Fan site SD Tekken says Yoshimitsu will now be for "expert" level players. Guess I'll have to go back to working on perfecting Panda's "Death Wind." Michael McWhertor
