    1Up has posted a list (taken from Games for Windows) of 101 free games for your PC that can be found in various regions of the vast internet. They've thankfully divided them into genres for easy perusing so you can go directly to the kind of games you prefer instead of sifting through a bunch of undefinable titles. Genres include 10-Minute Time Wasters, Action Trip, Adventurer's Island/RPG, Armchair Strategy, Brain Benders, Desktop Arcade, FPS, Free At Last, Garage Satire, Puzzle, Shooting Gallery, Sim City, Sports and Tributes and Remakes.

    1Up swears that all of these games are worth a look and a test drive, and since I'm busily wring today's posts, I can't look at them all myself right now.
