We had a chance to meet with Peter Moore yesterday to talk to him about things like in-game advertising, the PS3 price, innovation in controllers (or the lack thereof for the Xbox 360) and his plans for Japan.
As usual, I found his answers direct and honest (you can check out the video of the interview later on today when we post it.), so I figured I might as well ask him something that's been bugging me for more than a year: Is that Halo 2 tattoo real?
Things were wrapping up and everyone was leaving, so I walked over and said, "I just gotta ask, is that Halo 2 tattoo real?"
Moore said, "Oh come on." and then proceeded to whip his Sport's jacket off and roll up his shirt sleeve. "It's real," he said pointing to the slightly faded black tattoo on his arm.
I looked over at his daughter, who happened to sit in on the interview, and asked: "What do you think of you dad getting a tattoo?"
"My mom didn't leave him over it, so I guess it's OK."
Well there you have it, one of life's great mysteries solved... Man, I should have asked him about that GTA tattoo.
