Between San Francisco and now New York, there might be two less Sony Stores in existence before the night is through. Much like San Fran, the NYC Sony Store is generating a huge crowd of PS3 hopefuls, clogging the streets of an already grumpy city, making it just that much more angry. While reports from yesterday indicated a relatively calm gathering, now we are hearing that isolated fights are starting to break out in the streets.
Scott Alexander from the Playboy blog stumbled across "a sizable scuffle" while taking photos of the milling crowd.

While the fight was quickly handled by the police, tempers are building to a fever pitch. One angry New Yorker is scary enough.

If this crowd turns, there'll be human sacrifice, dogs and cats living together - mass hysteria. Then who we gonna call?
