Any girl gamers reading this - move along please, nothing to see here.

The BBC is reporting some dramatic new findings in the search for the root cause of premature ejaculation. A possible genetic link has been found that could make some men more prone to the condition.

A study of 200 Dutch men found that many who shared a gene linked to low serotonin levels were, shall we say, prone to uncorking their wine before it had properly matured.

Paula Hall, a sexual psychotherapist for relationship counsellors Relate, pointed out that this may show itself in other areas of the men's lives. More »

Sega US boss Simon Jeffery wasn't the only big name in the industry who felt that this year's E3 Expo lacked a certain livelihood. Former Microsoft tattoo bearer and current EA Sports head man Peter Moore says that last week's event was "soulless and lacking an epicenter". All is not lost though. In a post on his official blog late last night, Moore assures us that the problems can be fixed, and that getting the fans involved is the key. More »

When Brian first told me what I was going to be doing, I'll admit I was a little overwhelmed at the thought of going through potentially hundreds of photos, and making them presentable for all the world to see. But now I understand why Crecente called the first gallery his "labour of love". It was really exciting getting hear from you guys and receiving stories about your gaming setups from all over the world. I'm a little sad I couldn't include all the great stories you guys provided me with, but I think many of these pictures speak for themselves. More »

In case you have never been here or have noticed that I haven't been posting lots of "hands on" articles, PAX is really about gamers. It's not an E3 where you will see all the latest games (although there are some thing s here) it's more a giant social gaming party. Everywhere you look there are gamers playing games. And not just video games either, there is plenty of board gaming, card gaming, RPG gaming, D&D gaming and pertty much any other kind of gaming you can think of. As I've been wandering around I've marveled at all these gamers peacefully co-existing with each other, making friends and just generally having a good time. If you've ever doubted the camaraderie of the cult of gaming, come to PAX and it will change your outlook completely. More »

When Cheetos and Rockstar Energy drink stop cutting the mustard in giving you the necessary carbs and sugars to keep you going to the next level, you can now turn to Headshot, the energy bar for gamers. It's crisped rice, chocolate, toffee, and caffeinated guarana berries that you've been missing nutritionally from your diet, not those pesky fruits and vegetables. More »

If you've never seen Wife Swap, you are missing out on some of the best reality television American programming has today. The premise is simple - two insanely different families trade mothers for a week and "earn" $20,000 for being on the show. That's how lucky viewers get to meet people like little Maguerite, "God Warrior". And if you would like some one like Maguerite to terrorize your family on national television, well now is your chance. ABC is looking for "avid" gamers to let crazy people into their house, and in turn they will send you out on a fabulous vacation into the very abyss of American culture. All you need to do is have a family that consists of two parents and at least one child (6+) living at home, and your promise that you won't call social services after you arrive at your new family's home. Many will enter, few will win, all will be scrutinized. Kim Phu More »

Analysts at TNS Worldpanel Entertainment have released research indicating that over the past four years the number of female and older gamers is on the rise. Old codgers (here interpreted as over 45) buying games for personal use has risen over 40%, while the female figure (rawr) is up 67%. They didn't say how many women over the age of 45 were buying games for themselves, which just goes to show I should be a market analyst, since they obviously didn't follow through here. Wired has a great article up, detailing India's rise as a gamer society and the proliferation of cybercafes and gaming tournaments through India's growing middle class. India today is China of 2001: A rumbling cluster of highly compressed gamers ready to explode in a Big Bang across the entirety of the subcontinent. More »

Do boy gamers hate girl gamers? Yes. frankly, I'm sick of you baby factories mucking up my cathartic games of virtual butchery with your rainbows and puppy dogs. I wince every time my girlfriend wanders barefoot out of the kitchen to play a game of Animal Crossing on my Gamecube: Doesn't she know that the estrogen she's oozing all over the controller is having an acidic reaction to the Cheetos-dust patina I've laboriously worked up over the years? You girls want to game? I've got a game you can play. It's called "make me a sandwich." More »

To celebrate my recent, and undoubtedly brief victory over Florian as "Most Hated Kotakuite", I present for the delectation of your outraged eyes and nuts a trailer for a movie guaranteed to make many of us more self-conscious and uncomfortable than the convention scenes in Galaxy Quest. Thanks, Sarah! Eliza Gauger More »

There's something funny in the Hollywood waterbottles, I tell you: Jerry Bruckheimer has just been signed up to produce Game Boys, a sci-fi action movie spec script, with Disney putting up the moolah. Here's the matchbox pitch: More »

Alexis over at The PSP Nation emailed to remind us of their site which helps Playstation Portable owners find people to game with. Coincidentally, The PSP Nation just kicked off their Frappr site. So now you can check out a map of where other PSP owners live. Sadly, none of them are in Colorado. Not one single gamer. Dammit, if it's the last thing I do, I will make Colorado a gaming hub. More »

Robbie Cooper has a gallery up at BBC News featuring gamers pictures beside their avatars. It's probably not a representative sample, but it's solid photography and these galleries are always interesting. The fourth dude in the gallery is one of the 33 kings in Lineage. How do you get to be a king? More »
