Elysium, Gamers with Jobs head honco, has launched a donation driver for the family of one of his site's long-time members. One_of_47, who has been reading the site since the second week it was live, passed away last week of complications brought on by Legionnaires' Disease. He leaves behind a wife, a 7-year-old son and some major medical expenses.

It's heartening to see a site try to do something good for their readers. It reminds me that while we may be spread to the four corners of the earth, enjoy different game systems and read different sites, we're all still part of the same gaming community.
