Hidden in the dark depths of the German exhibitor section at the Kentia hall was Fanatec with the Speedster controller. This controller also functions as a steering wheel. Each side shifts in a wheel-like movement. In game, surprisingly, it was responsive and smooth—by no means is it a steering wheel replacement, but nice if you need something small and still want the steering-wheel effect. This will be available near the end of July for $50. Currently it is only available for the PS2 but there are plans to convert it for PS3 use, also.
