Call me crazy, but when I saw this painting by Antonio Castro, Sr. in the El Paso Museum of Art last night the first thing I thought was Halo.

It's hard to tell in this photo, but it shows a man dressed in something that resembles early Halo armor with his foot propped up on the famous placard from the Statute of Liberty.
