The Xbox 360 Faceplate that Microsoft was handing out at its E3 party doesn't even fit the console, after all. There were tons of them on ebay in the wake of the show and now all of the suckers who bought the "Limited Edition" faceplate for their Xbox 360 are screwed. It's still collectible and limited, even though it doesn't work, right?
Update: A resourceful Kotaku reader, R. Peter Clark, is refuting the claim that the Xbox 360 E3 faceplate doesn't work with the console. In fact, he even supplied proof that it does. See, if I had an Xbox 360 already, this wouldn't have been a problem. Hasn't anyone broke the street date, yet? Sheesh. Thanks again to R. Peter Clark for clearing up the mess (hopefully).
