It looks like Midway's 1993 arcade hit Mortal Kombat II will be the first of six Sony Online Entertainment published titles to hit the PLAYSTAITON 3 when it makes its debut on the PlayStation Store in March. The remaining titles, including Gauntlet II, Joust, Rampage World Tour, Rampart and Championship Sprint all still have "to be announced" release dates.

Development duties are, of course, being handled by retro masters Digital Eclipse and gamers looking to relive the fatality filled classic need only drop $4.99 the online-play enabled 2D fighter.
