Siliconera is baffled by the Death Jr. costumes sold by Backbone Entertainment this year, and I'm inclined to agree. Death Jr. was an unsuccessful little PSP launch title, despite its beautiful character design. Why the tenacious franchising?

Is Death Jr. so popular that people want to dress up like Pandora? Or is Backbone Entertainment that strapped for cash? Maybe this is going to be seed marketing money for the two Death Jr. games coming out next year.

Yeah, I dunno either. I dig the artwork in the Death Jr. series so much that I hope it becomes popular, but as of now, I'm hard-pressed to envision more than one or two of these outfits selling, if that. Eliza Gauger
