These fireworks were spotted by Kotakuite rrockshow182 in Missouri, and it looks like Dante is moonlighting as a firecracker model. I am an obsessive collector of action figures, but during my time as a transient I stopped purchasing things due to lack of funds and shelves to put them on. Now that I am back in the land of the apartment dwellers, my interest in little plastic men has been renewed with this awesome DMC III Dante Revoltech figure. When I was in Tokyo I found an early Dante Revoltech figure at a store but unfortunately it was only on display. They had no actual one for sale and despite the efforts of myself, Witzbold and Cheapy D, we were unable to find one anywhere. Well now it seems a new version is coming out that I will be able to get my hands on come March. More »

The pews are flying fast and furious in this cutscene from Devil May Cry 4, which ends as most of my parties back in high school did - with a broadsword through someone's chest. I can only imagine that the brief pause in the middle was an 'insert gameplay here' pause, with an epic, player-controlled fight happening in between. Between this, GameVideos' latest batch of gameplay clips, and this morning demo announcement and screenshot explosion, I'd say we've had enough DMC IV today to last us til February. More »

I usually don't pay too close attention to online polls, but when Kotakuite hero.of.time sent in this one I had to give a chuckle. Gamefaqs is currently running the sixth in a series of Character Battle polls wherein readers vote between four characters on who would win in a fight. After narrowing it down from a list that included the likes of Samus, Mega Man, Ryu, Sephiroth and other top contenders, only four characters will remain in the final battle. The final semi-final battle is on now and in a battle between a Tetris L-block, Solid Snake, Master Chief and Dante, the L-block is slamming the competition with a whopping 32,953 votes followed by Solid Snake with 24,497 votes. The two top characters in this battle will go on to the finals and currently Link and Cloud are in the winner's circle awaiting their two remaining competitors. Will the L-block reign supreme? Cast your vote and decide. Is it ridiculous? Of course, but it's Saturday and news is slow. So, sue me. More »

A new Devil May Cry 4 video clip is available over at the Capcom website. Right now, it's looking kind of like a slot machine because the entire site has the word "new" blinking all over the place in red, all caps, but if you click on the "movies" section, you can watch some footage called "Dante's Gameplay". Basically it shows off Dante's weapon skills including combo moves. Actual game footage probably lasts less than 20 seconds, so you'll have try to keep those eyeballs open for the entire length of the video. Kim Phu More »
