For those of you planning to travel to the Games Convention in Leipzig this year will be happy to know that the organizers are making it easier for you to get there. Many additions ahve been made including six new charter flights from various locations in Europe including Amsterdam, Helsinki, London, Munich, Paris and Vienna. If the plane isn't your thing you can also take the Deutsche Bahn which will have a special ticket that can be purchased by conventioneers from any DB rail station. Sony Snubs E For All

Well this certainly doesn't bode well for the inaugural E or All Expo. The folks over at FiringSquad have been asking major publishers about attending the fledgling game convention, that aims to bring players together with publishers and developers in the spirit of gaming goodness. That goal might be a problem, however, as one of the big three states they have no plans to attend. As of right now Sony won't be attending the event, and the 'Squad have also confirmed that SOE, Sega, NCsoft, and Capcom have decided not to participate. Of the big three, Nintendo was among the first to get on board, while Microsoft remains undecided. It's not the end of the world though. So far the only confirmed third party publisher I know of is EA. What happens if you throw a gaming convention and no one shows up? We might soon find out. More »

Leipzig Comes to Life

With just a week to go before Kotaku invades Leipzig, the Games Convention is starting to take shape. The convention's official blog posted a slew of set-up pictures today showing off how the event center is starting to come together. Images from the Sony booth shows lots of space taken up for Eye of Judgment, Time Crisis 4, Ratchet, Uncharted and Lair. EA's booth looks a bit like the Sydney Opera House, while Blizzard appears to have space for WoW and Star Craft II.Lucas Arts look like they will be showing Star Wars Force Unleashed, judging by their signage.
