The Xbox 360 logo inspired by aliens? Probably not, but it does have green in it. And aliens are always green. Mark Wilson over at sister site Gizmodo spotted this sketch from 1697, which has a design that looks like the Xbox 360 logo. Coincidence? More »

The Wii Flap

We know the name, we know about the controller speaker, about the motion detection, about the pointer control, but apparently that's not enough. Now fans have latched onto a little flap on the petite Wii and have become convinced that it hides the secret to eternal life, or perhaps a 3D hologram projector. Another, just as credible idea, is that the flap covers up a slot where you can plug in DS games. What about, I don't know, a place to stick memory cards. Nintendo fans sure do love their conspiracies. —Brian Crecente More »

Michael Jackson's Music Hidden in Sonic 3?

Someone shot me a YouTube upload of a short documentary examining the possible connections between Michael Jackson's music and the music of Sonic 3. Before you starting thinking this is a conspiracy, rumor has it that Jackson was initially signed on to do the music for a Sonic game but dropped when the scandals started. More »
