"I agree with other posters that this is totally staged.
Proper camera placement at the end of the segment gave it away faster than George W gave away our standing in the world community."
"I call shenanigans...
Is it just me, or at several points during that video does it look like the video is actually leading his hand instead of the other way around?"
"Like many other intelligent Nintendo owners, I don't buy Nintendo's excuses for the friend code system.
What would change as far as online safety is concerned if everyone had a nickname, but you still had to add each of your friends as well as have them add you?
On top of that, what does forcing every game to use a different code have anything to do with online safety?
As Shifty_Pete said, 1 very simple parental control that asks for the parent's password before your children can add friends, let games use your Wii friends list and you're set...
Instead, we get a system that's convoluted to a point where there are VERY few people that even use the service."
"Doesn't the nunchuck contain the same analog stick that the other controllers that are actually on the ban list do?
Patent lawsuits confuse and INFURIATE me!"
"So he:
1) got completely ripped off by trading in his 360 and games at gamestop
2) "He always tells me the latest trend three months before I read about it in the media." yet just now learned about mgs4 and the "awesomeness of blu-ray"?
3) fell for the old "Sony now has a special coating on Blu-ray game discs which makes them virtually scratch-proof" trick...
Sounds to me like that article is actually trying to prove that her kid is an idiot..."
"It's apparent to me that there is a HUGE opportunity for game developers to make money on the Wii by catering to the core gamers.
Nintendo continues to say that they haven't abandoned the core audience, but actions speak louder than words.
I know there are a LOT of Wii owners that are VERY upset with the way Nintendo is taking their system."
"@SneakerFiend: afaik, you won't have to BUY your tech at Wal-Mart in order to use the Dell Support Stations.
Wal-Mart will just be providing the commercial footprint for Dell so that they don't have to build their own stores."
"@dr_time: I know, it's like they believe the techs will automatically be idiots just because the station is inside of a Wal-Mart.
I think it's actually a very good idea as long as they actually hire/train capable techs.
<--- even coming from a computer technician, I believe tech support is getting to be far too expensive."
"@michaelleung: She was too young to get into E3...
(yes, this was a jab at how Nintendo's focus is apparently on "kiddy" gimmick games now, leaving their core gamers out in the cold)"
