We are definitely impressed with the mods that get released for Oblivion.

As we already mentioned a few times, including a fan interview back before E3, we'd love to see mods tools for Fallout 3 happen. First and foremost, the priority is getting Fallout 3 ready for release. If/when we're able to get them out, we'll let everyone know.

The game begins with your birth, where you choose your sex and name, then customize your characters look, with the game informing your new parents that "this is what your child will look like in their twenties". It's a neat little touch, keeping everything nice and immersive - I mean, if you've gone this far to ensure the "Fallout atmosphere" is retained, there's no point breaking it with rubbish menu prompts every couple of seconds.

If you listen to his answer on it (starting about 38 min into the podcast), I think it'll make a little more sense. It's not that each of these endings would be completely different, but rather things you do during the game can tweak different endings.

Somewhat related, whatever happened with the email folks were supposed to get about 500 free points if they were a Live member since 2002 (that's me!). Once when I was on the phone with Microsoft, I mentioned it and they had no idea what I was talking about.
