      • Funnydale commented on Proto Man Playable via DLC

"You know, this wouldn't be as bad if Nintendo would have let you buy Wii points by the dollar instead of making you buy Wii points in chunks of 5/10 dollars."

      • Funnydale commented on Proto Man Playable via DLC

"Okay, this is totally not cool. We get the graphics and sound of the NES era, with the "pay for stuff that would have been free" BS of this generation. When Capcom does the inevitable Mega Man X9 remake next year, I'm sure we'll have to pay a couple bucks to enable the freaking Sound Test menu."

      • Funnydale commented on NCSoft Cutting European Staff, Closing Tabula Rasa?

"There are more duplicate posts on Kotaku about Tabula Rasa than there are actual players. NCSoft should have gone with the Kotaku MMO: Factions of Sony, Microsoft, Nintendo and PC fanboys square off on a quest for.....absolutely nothing of significance! Just like your typical MMO."

"@Dappa: "Vitrua Fighter games looked horrible compared to their tekken counterparts" I don't know what type of glasses you've been wearing when you played both of those games, but you're wrong. Virtua Fighter 1, 2 and 3 were using technology developed by Lockheed Martin while Tekken 1, 2, and 3 were based off of the orginal PlayStation. Virtua Fighter 3's graphics in 1996 were better than most early PlayStation 2 games that came out 2001"

      • Funnydale commented on PS3 BioShock Features "Over Ten Minute" Mandatory Install

"As someone who owns both systems; this install crap is the reason why I've only bothered to buy a grand total of two disc-based games for my PS3 this year -- (Hot Shots Golf (which oddly enough, makes you install the entire game) and MGS4. Sorry, but I don't want to spend another 60-70 bucks to buy and install another hardrive just to play a fucking game, which is why I always get the 360 version of any 3rd-party game over the PS3 one. For me, the PS3 is looking like this generations version of the Nintendo 64: a system that I'll only buy 2-3 exclusive games a year for (Little Big Planet is the only PS3 game I plan on buying this year)."

"@Kyall: OIL FIELD PRODUCTION OPERATOR = union workers who make around 40,000 to 70,000 a year. That's like saying that a fast-food manager is in the 'pocket' of the food industry (rolls eyes)."
