Rumor of the forever right here. I sent this one into the tipline, but it's too juicy not to share.

I think once an economist, on a political news program, makes a truly bizarre video game reference... that's when you know that gaming has really gone mainstream:

About 4:14 into the clip. Trust me; it's worth it.

Yes, Chrome is awesome. Its based on the Safari browser Webkit developed by Apple.

You will be able to use it soon on the MAC.

Oh, and if you need another writer, here I am!

Hey Brian,

I'm a longtime reader of the site, but I wanted to bring your attention to something. The latest postings by AJ have been garnering some attention, and not all of it that favorable. Besides insinuating that King of the Hill is a multiplayer mode 'unique to Fracture' in a past article, her most recent piece says that "We didn't like the SNES controllers all that much to begin with (which is why they evolved into N64 controllers)."

Not to disparage one person's opinion, but there are 68 comments on the article and most of them are expressions of confusion over that statement - what gamers do you know didn't like the SNES pad? Check out the latest comment by TeflonBilly to see what I mean.

This isn't a personal thing, it just frustrates me to see Kotaku's credibility take a subtle dive with each post like this. Hopefully you and the staff can sort this out so I and others won't have to migrate to joystiq permanently :)

Thanks & keep up the good work!

Saw you walking in the opposite direction in that super-hot hallway at PAX. Tried to say "hi" but I was too suprised/overheated to get anything out. Hope your drive back went well.

Hey Brian,

An interesting thing is happening in my area and it seems to be happening elsewhere too. I went to purchase a PS3 80gb this weekend and its was sold out all over my area. Target, Circuit City, Best Buy, and 2 of 3 Gamestops were all sold out. The only Gamestop to have one was the newly opened one. Both Targets said they had been sold out for at least a week.

When I checked Target and Bestbuy online both were not selling PS3's online either.

Just something interesting.

Hey Brian,

Has there been any thought to posting an article/looking into the extreme censorship of the music in Madden 09? I can understand censoring swear-words, but what they have censored is unbelieveable.

It's pretty bad, for example:
- the following words were removed from The Offspring's "Hammerhead" track:

* "guns" from "Camouflage and guns"
* "in arms" from "with my brothers in arms"
* "loaded" from "locked and loaded"
* "shadow of death" from "shadow of death, i fear no evil"
* "my aim" from "my aim is true" - the entire outro!

- the following is censored from the Disturbed track on there. From the chorus:

* "life" from "release your life..."

Apparently, there are quite a few instances of this occurring with non-offensive lyrics throughout many of the tracks.

Doesn't anyone else find this very strange? Or is it just me?? ha.

The comments for "Headstrong's Secret Sega Title To Get Leipzig Outing" are not working.

I suppose you locked them after people told you to get on the bus, and not loose your head.

If you know what I'm talking about, then this story, (or at least the pick) should have been rethought.

If you don't know what I'm talking about, locking comments is no way to learn the communities concerns.
