<![CDATA[Comments from atma]]> <![CDATA[Comments from atma]]> <![CDATA[atma commented on Do You Finish Every Game You Buy?]]> I bought the Twilight Princess the day it came out and still haven't beaten it. The same goes for the Orange Box. ...And Phantom Hourglass. And Lost Odyssey.

Yeah, I have a terrible tendency of not beating most of my games. I feel like I will eventually. The problem is, I love replaying games that I've already beaten. For example, I bought a PSP only after knowing that FFT was coming out for it.

Will I beat these games? Eventually. I only just beat Call of Duty 4 and have been playing the multiplayer for the longest time. These things will happen. Hopefully. Maybe. I might just sell them for another game that I probably won't beat.

<![CDATA[atma commented on Xbox 360 Getting Video Ads?]]> I really don't have a problem with the ads since they're mainly only advertising for games and Xbox Live related stuff. To have a video here and there... I'm not sure if I'd be bothered by that. What does bother me, however, is the videos currently on there that aren't already working. Does anyone else have a lot of trboule with the 'Preview' option for movies and TV Shows? I know the icon has to be there in order to get a preview, but even then, there's little to no chance that a video will even pop up.

<![CDATA[atma commented on Microsoft Sold 310K Xbox 360s Last Week]]> Is the 360 really considered the underdog of the three consoles? For some reason I have trouble believing that.

<![CDATA[atma commented on Ghostbusters: The Game Lives!]]> I wonder if those screen shots from a while ago are the actual game. It looked like it was a Gears of War mod. Not that I would really mind if that were the case. I think that a Ghostbusters game could potentially be awesome if it were played in a similar way to Gears of War.

And to think, I just watched the movies back and forth last weekend. This is great news.

<![CDATA[atma commented on Rock Band DLC News Nothing Short Of Pants Explosion]]> Wait, what happened to "entire albums" that we heard of before? That's what I want, not this individual song crap.

<![CDATA[atma commented on Frankenreview, Call of Duty 4 (Xbox 360)]]> There's no denying it; this game is amazing. I've been hooked on Halo since it was made to play on Live, but the online in COD4 has already taken me away from Master Chief. I was fortunate enough to play the beta of the game, so I was hooked a few months back. If you're into online FPS's, then this is a game that you can not pass up.

I only have one major problem with the game. I have two Xbox Live accounts on my 360, but the game only allows for one at a time to play on Live. I can play split-screen against my friend, but I can't do anything with him online. I'm having trouble understanding why they didn't include that in the game. I really have to buy two 360's and two games in order to play this with my friend, who already has a Live account? That's screwed up.

Other than that, though? Amazing. Oh, and don't buy this for the single-player mode. If you can't connect to Live for some reason or another, I'd suggest just renting it. The single-player is way too short.

]]>
<![CDATA[atma commented on How to Comment: Team Fortress 2]]> rowan of rohan, I'll play. I'm pretty terrible at TF2, but if you guys want to get together and play more Halo3, I'll be there for that. Well, I'd be there for either, but don't expect much with TF2. Yeah, that's it.

]]>
<![CDATA[atma commented on EA Chicago Shutting Down?]]> Maybe EA will learn from all of this and, oh, I don't know, make decent games?

]]>
<![CDATA[atma commented on Frankenreview, Beautiful Katamari (Xbox 360)]]> Played it. Beat it. Honestly, I love the Katamari games, but this is probably the weakest that I've played. There are a few minor advancements with the graphics, but I'd have to agree with the reviews; it just isn't "next-gen". This game would look the same on the Wii.

I also have a problem with how short this installment ended up being. There were nine - maybe ten levels. Most of them repeated the same course but with different objectives.

I still picked it up, though, because I no longer have a PS2 and had a craving for rolling crap up. In the achievements section of the game, it does give the hint that there will be downloadable content. Hopefully they'll give a few freebies, but that probably won't happen.

Is it still fun? Well, if you like rolling crap up, then yeah, it's a lot of fun. I enjoyed it a lot, personally, I just wish it was a tad bit longer.

]]>
<![CDATA[atma commented on Another Look At Too Human]]> Wait, so you haven't actually played it yet, but you're already deeming it a "beautiful mess". Do you remember Diablo and how simple the fighting was? Do you remember how awesome that game ended up being? If you haven't even given the game a chance, then why are you even bothering to critique it? So what if it's taken years to make. Silicon Knights has a pretty decent record thus far.

I'll admit, the fighting does look simple, but it was also simple in games like God of War and Devil May Cry.

<![CDATA[atma commented on Haze: A Study in Asymetric Combat]]> Halo 3 and Bioshock are the only FPS's that really matter this holiday.

]]>
<![CDATA[atma commented on New Mass Effect Character Creation Video, Hottttttt]]> I don't care what anyone says. Oblivion's character creation sucked hard. This, however, looks pretty convincing.

]]>
<![CDATA[atma commented on Rock Band Bundle Favors the PS3?]]> ...So does anyone know if the GH3 guitar will work with Rock Band or not? I really do not want to have eight different guitars around to play variants of the same game.

]]>
<![CDATA[atma commented on Even More New Guitar Hero III Tracks]]> It's about freaking time that Slayer's on the list. But of all of the AFI they could have chosen, they picked the crappiest piece of crap that's ever crapped.

Is there a song-list for Rock Band yet? I know about Nevermind and Who's Next, but that's pretty much it.

Dammit. Why do these two games need to come out so close to eachother? Oh, and while I'm at it, here's another question. Will the Rock Band guitar work for GH3?

]]>
<![CDATA[atma commented on What Are You Playing This Weekend?]]> I've had a Wii since it came out and I still haven't beaten Zelda yet. Don't judge. I'll be trying to get through that and Resident Evil 4 this weekend.

]]>
<![CDATA[atma commented on New Mass Effect Trailer]]> I'll be picking this up after the holidays when there's nothing else to play. I have a feeling that this game is going to take over my life.

]]>
<![CDATA[atma commented on Unreal Engine 3, Half-Baked, Broken and Late?]]> Dammit. I wish I didn't have to say this, but this will just be another excuse for SK to delay it even further. "We would have gotten the game completed earlier, but then we had this lawsuit and all... and E306 cough cough."

]]>
<![CDATA[atma commented on Silicon Knights Sues Epic Games]]> NFLChampion, SK has already made a game that's better than Gears of War: Eternal Darkness. And who knows, the engine might actually b at fault as to why the game itself has taken so long to develop. Maybe it is buggy. No one here really knows if that's the case or not. You can still make great games on buggy engines, of course, but I'm assuming that SK is trying to do a lot of things with it that they just... can't. Now, as far as going with a completely different engine with Too Human at this point is pretty much death to the game. Keep the game a little more limited than what you want, and fix those little mistakes with the second installment.

<![CDATA[atma commented on PS3 Meltdown]]> Playstation 3 is categorized as a narcotic.

<![CDATA[atma commented on Guitar Hero 80s Trailer]]> They better release this on XBOX Live. It'd be stupid not to.

<![CDATA[atma commented on Final Fantasy VII Remake Rumors Nixed]]> I would buy a PS3 for a Chrono Trigger remake or a new Chrono game. I was thinking about picking up a PSP just for the Final Fantasy Tactics port. That game... ugh. Want to touch the hiney. If that game had one, I'd totally touch it.

]]>
<![CDATA[atma commented on Final Fantasy VII Remake Rumors Nixed]]> @romBox: Now -that- is a remake I'd like to play. I tried getting through it the other day and the graphics are just too dated for me.

]]>
<![CDATA[atma commented on Final Fantasy VII Remake Rumors Nixed]]> You know what? Good. I mean, sure, FFVII was amazing, but let's let the remakes go already. If The Last Remnant ends up to be complete garbage, then Square-Enix has basically nothing other than remakes. It needs to stop.

And no more shitty sequels to FFVII, either.

]]>
<![CDATA[atma commented on Nintendo Hardware Rumor]]> Who needs a DVD player at this point? No one would buy that stupid little attachment. A hdd, sure, if they included Sega Saturn in the VC. What I'd really like to see is another channel for new game demos, like what XBOX Live is trying to do. A connectivity between the DS and the Wii would be kind of nice, but there's always only a game or two that would integrate that technology.

]]>
<![CDATA[atma commented on Xbox Live Vid Pumps up Lion Gate Revenue]]> I've used the Marketplace for a bunch of downloads - especially Human Giant. I don't have cable tv, so the few shows that I'm interested in are downloadable.

The only problem I have with the service is the serious lack of movies. Look, give me movies. I'll download them. Just don't limit them by nitpicking and throwing them at me every Wednesday. Why Wednesday, anyway? I usually watch a movie on the weekend.

Now you've got me angry, Microsoft. First, I was all "hey, wow, movies in HD." Now, during this very post, I've changed. You've hurt me, Gates. I just want my Daredevil in HD, dammit!

That was a joke. Daredevil sucks.

<![CDATA[atma commented on Give That Halo 3 Armor a Custom Makeover]]> This is so last week. Pshaw.

]]>
<![CDATA[atma commented on The Last Remnant On Game Head Tonight]]> GameHead seriously sucks anyway. I don't like the constant hip-hoppity around all of the subjects that they cover so it makes it seem that they have more content. Their interviews are terrible, too. Way to ask the questions that matter, guy. Way to go.

<![CDATA[atma commented on Impressions With Xbox 360's Guitar Hero 3 Wireless Guitar]]> The question is will the Guitar Hero II controller for the 360 work for Guitar Hero III? I don't want to have to buy another freaking controller to play two-player on GHIII.
