"@beeeatsme: You're right on the point that "too long doesn't mean bad", I'd much rather have a cutscene that was too long than one that was poorly voiced and/or unskippable, etc. However, Kojima seems to use cutscenes as a crutch to avoid having to develop more gameplay."

"You guys know that saying anything even remotely negative about MGS4 makes you a troll right? YES, the cutscenes are WAY too long, and many of them are completely unnecessary and detract from the gameplay. After playing MGS4 for a few hours, you realize that you've only actually been playing for a few minutes."
