<![CDATA[Comments from Ken Hikari]]> <![CDATA[Comments from Ken Hikari]]> <![CDATA[Ken Hikari commented on WoW Getting Achievements With Wrath Of The Lich King]]> I laugh at people who justify their reasoning for playing this game. "It's still good, I enjoy it, stop bashing it, bla bla bla"

I'm really glad that I stopped playing this game. Like others have said, it was fun getting to 70, but the end game sucked more than you could imagine and the game lost all fun. I even had to resort to selling all my equipment, and going back to Elwynn forest as a level 70 and "replay" through the game getting equipment from scratch.

It feels good to be able to sit back and look with a perspective of someone who played WoW for a good 2 years and then seeing just how un-fun the end game was.

The fact that they are adding achievements to this game just shows how desperate they are to win new players and bring back old ones. They realize that they are no longer the #1 focus of the MMO genre, as games like AOC and WAR are quickly going to be the new popular ones.

Nice try Blizzard, but it's already too late.

<![CDATA[Ken Hikari commented on Darth Vader's Apprentice Joins Soulcalibur IV Cast]]> Like someone already has said, as long as they include all the old characters, then I'm happy. We still haven't heard any news about Hwang though...I want him back.

<![CDATA[Ken Hikari commented on Bionic Commando Multiplayer In Action]]> Until now, I didn't know this game was going to have multiplayer. Now it looks like a lot of fun!

<![CDATA[Ken Hikari commented on Guitar Hero: World Tour Demo Vid]]> Ah that was so great!! "It's called Rock Band I think"...

]]>
<![CDATA[Ken Hikari commented on R.I.P. Guitar Hero (2005-2008)]]> It's official. Guitar Hero has completely jumped the shark. I liked it better when only a handful of people knew about it. This is just embarrassing to watch.

]]>
<![CDATA[Ken Hikari commented on Australia And Friends Added To Warhammer Online Launch]]> These are all early screenshots, and they haven't even implemented the final lighting and shading to the final build. It's going to look really nice when it's finished.

]]>
<![CDATA[Ken Hikari commented on Talking To The DBZ: Burst Limit Demo]]> Played it, really didn't like it. After playing the Tenkaichi series, and how smooth everything plays, this just feels clunky and annoying.

<![CDATA[Ken Hikari commented on Star Wars: The Force Unleashed Multiplayer Makes LucasArts PR Snappy]]> In this day and age, you expect a game to have multiplayer. Now don't get me wrong, a good single player campaign is worth every penny, but the thing about multiplayer that some people fail to understand is this: replay-ability and most importantly, fun.

With a game like this, with a sandbox type of movement and attack physics, one would be giddy at the thought of multiple people running around ala Jedi Academy with extreme force powers slicing and pushing people off edges. Avatar customization, or a robust character selection would be even cooler.

However, I truly feel the developers are jsut plain lazy. Why develop a Multiplayer mode for the Wii and it's gimmicky controls? Live and PSN have a much more extensive user base, and I belive they would sell far more copies with a MP, even though they will sell billions just because it has the name Star Wars.

All in all, I really get tired of games that simply beg to have multiplayer, but then it either gets vetoed or simply ignored by the designers. Or in this case, given to a obviously inferior system.

<![CDATA[Ken Hikari commented on Soulcalibur IV Ups Its T&A Quotient Again]]> I think she looks great, and I can't wait to try her out. New characters are always welcome.

<![CDATA[Ken Hikari commented on Ninja Gaiden II Trailer Scythes Outside The Box]]> This music coupled with the announcer makes me think of Crisis Core.

Wait, is the announcer's voice the VA for Angeal?

]]>
<![CDATA[Ken Hikari commented on The Video Game Music Jukebox]]> Awesome idea, but like everyone has said it's running pretty slow for me.

<![CDATA[Ken Hikari commented on You Can Buy Ninja Gaiden II Skins]]> Should have been this *is* why I love.

]]>
<![CDATA[Ken Hikari commented on You Can Buy Ninja Gaiden II Skins]]> You see, this why I love, and hate DLC.

Instead of creating a well thought out, fully finished and loaded to the brim game with unlockables at launch, developers are using DLC as an excuse to churn out crappy half done games and then charge us up the ass to pay for content that SHOULD of already been on the disc to begin with.

It's laziness mixed with greed. Pure and simple.

<![CDATA[Ken Hikari commented on Burnout Paradise To Introduce Motorcycles, Night, General Bad Assness]]> This sounds like it has the potential to be awesome, but just bring back the Burnout 2 or 3 crash mode in the update for crying out loud.

Maybe then, MAYBE then will I buy this game.

]]>
<![CDATA[Ken Hikari commented on Saint's Row 2 Weapons - Ready, Clear!]]> To all those who think the graphics suck: The game is still in production, what they are showing you is early footage, companies always do that.

And since when did graphics matter THAT much anyway? All the weapons and vehicles and gameplay seems much more appealing to me then worrying if it has good graphics.

<![CDATA[Ken Hikari commented on XBLA This Week: Bullwinkle and Battlezone]]> Battle Zone with Death-match? Sounds awesome, but how will it work?

<![CDATA[Ken Hikari commented on Two Hours of Mario Kart Direct Feed]]> Is it just me, or do new games these days skimp out on the options menu? There was nothing for audio or video or any other adjustments one MIGHT like to make.

<![CDATA[Ken Hikari commented on Halo 3 Legendary Map Pack Trailer]]> Uh oh, new maps! That means thousands of people to complain about how it costs too much!

I for one can't wait and will easily throw down 10 dollars for these amazing new maps.

<![CDATA[Ken Hikari commented on 'All On My PSP' Commercial Celebrates Slapstick]]> I'm sorry, but that was the most idiotic thing I've ever seen.

I don't see how it has to do anything with PSP, and the actors were horrible.

<![CDATA[Ken Hikari commented on How'd You Find Kotaku?]]> My awesome friend James introduced me and now I check it daily, almost religiously. It is THE source for up to date gaming news.

I seriously can leave the page for 5 minutes, refresh and at least two new stories are posted.

Go Kotaku!

<![CDATA[Ken Hikari commented on The Force Unleashed Hits September]]> Why so much ill reception?

<![CDATA[Ken Hikari commented on You Got Assassin's Creed In My MGS4!]]> I think it's incredibly stupid that these new "Metal Gears" make "Moo" sounds.

It comes off as a joke to me.

]]>
<![CDATA[Ken Hikari commented on Designer Miis For The Lazy, Talentless]]> This is so stupid. It's like paying to customize a character of yourself on an MMO or something.

<![CDATA[Ken Hikari commented on Borderlands Delayed To 2009]]> Far, far, far too many games are "delaying" these days. Just stop giving us so many teasers so early on and giving us fake "Oh, it's *sorta* going to be relesed on this day..maybe* announcements.

Argh, now what do I have to look forward to?

<![CDATA[Ken Hikari commented on More Mark Wahlberg As Max Payne (No Rain)]]> All he needs are those Max-Payne Threads and he could totally fit the part.

]]>
<![CDATA[Ken Hikari commented on Soul Calibur IV Box Art]]> I really hate the inclusion of the Star Wars characters, but what's done is done.

Hopefully after a few months release they will allow DLC so both systems can have both characters.

Didn't Namco say they had plans to include more than just Vader and Yoda? Plus with DLC they could easily add more fighter characters for a fair price.

<![CDATA[Ken Hikari commented on Undertow: Path of the Elect Pack Hits Tomorrow]]> Why so much hate for this game? I had no idea there were so many negative people around here.

The game is no Mona Lisa, but it's fun and has some good multiplayer going for it, especially co-op.

Seriously you guys, it was free.
