      • K-OSS commented on Here's A New Max Payne Trailer

"Okay, I can bite the whole God/Devil, Post-Apocalytic, and Valkyrie imagery is symbolism for the Valkyr drug/revenge/etc. But why invoke symbolism and metaphor with a giant CGI fest?"

      • K-OSS commented on Things We Wish We'd Seen At E3, But Didn't

"Nintendo: - Announces they actually have GAMES in the pipeline. Sony: - Does SOMETHING. Microsoft: - Has decided to focus on only one or two things at a time instead of randomly flailing features and half assed ideas and seeing which target audiences they stick to. Square Enix: - Announces a new game where you can actually figure out the genders of all the characters by simply looking at them. Capcom: - Announces a sequel that actually has a little variety from its predecessors. Blizzard: - Actually shows that they care about other events besides their OWN overpriced conventions, and announces something. EA: - Buys E3, promises a brand new spanking convention next year, and we end up getting one just as dissapointing as this year."

      • K-OSS commented on Can a Game Be a Tearjerker?

"Final Fantasy VI, both at Celes' suicide attempt (Okay, listening to just the Aria makes me cry, if thats any measure of how much that scene got me) as well as Shadow's demise. Metal Gear Solid 3's Ending Kingdom Heart's ending: Kairi finding Sora's drawing gets me everytime. And the ending of Psychonauts, knowing that we'll never see a sequel..."
