      • AstroMoth commented on EA Sticking With SecuROM (Though Red Alert 3's Will Go A Little Easier On You)

"@ShirtGuyDom: I agree yes, but there's a lack of better idea's floating around. Amazon's spore review has dropped to 1 star now and that a good way to go about it, but EA keeps getting Amazon to remove the negative reviews so its ultimately ineffective."

      • AstroMoth commented on EA Sticking With SecuROM (Though Red Alert 3's Will Go A Little Easier On You)

"@ShirtGuyDom: It's highley unlikely that EA will shift one way or another, they probably have signed some kind of deal with the clowns who make SecuROM. But if enough people both hold off on buying the game and seed the torrent, it should prove to them that this kind of DRM is obviously not working if so many torrents are flying around the web. Personally I don't care for RA3 and wont buy it or even play it, I'm just hoping they give up on this invasive, ineffective crap before they put it on another game I actually want to give them my money for (only to be unable to play it for weeks again). Bring back the cardboard spinner wheels!"

"DRM and copy protection is a fine and dandy idea but it hasnt really worked since those cardboard wheels that used to come with amiga games."

"A lot of it comes down to quality, most every PC gamer i know actually bought crysis when it came out, just to test thier system out for bragging rights I guess."

      • AstroMoth commented on Shenmue On Wii, Anyone? Anyone?

"This is so cool, it might actually make me buy another Wii. I remember being blown away by the first game on the dreamcast and gagging for a sequel ever since, just never seemed to show up in the local games stores."

      • AstroMoth commented on European Rock Band Wii, PS3, PS2...Not Until August 29th [Update]

"A few online retailers have dropped the UK price to £130 for the both the game and the instrument box on the Xbox360, I guess EA are waiting to see how well it sells, then if it bombs they can lower the price point to around that figure for the other versions."
