Word from German game site Gamefront is that certain trade publications have removed the PlayStation 3 shooter Coded Arms Assault from their listings, leading them to believe that the game may have been cancelled.

There has been no confirmation from Konami yet, but both the English and Japanese corporate sites still list Coded Arms Assault as arriving at some point in 2007. No new media seems to have been distributed since September, however, which could signal either a delay, cancellation or just lazy PR folks.

I'm waiting to hear back from Konami and will hopefully get clarification soon. Michael McWhertor
