A wise man once said: "If someone else has a good idea, copy it like hell." That person of course did not come up with that aphorism, but swiped it. Sony, never content with what it creates itself and more than happy to borrow from others, likewise says that classic arcade games are headed to the PS3. Sure, this is territory Microsoft has covered before, but who cares? Good news if you ask me!

The company's John Hight says:

Sony's third party publishers will undoubtedly provide updated versions of classic arcade games... We've arbitrarily set a limit of 500MB to keep download times reasonable... [But] Since we've got plenty of HD space we can accommodate even bigger games and a lot of them.

Well, that sounds fine and dandy. I'm all for filling up my 60GB hard drive with more than Casino Royale trailers. (Though, that new Bond dude does look cool as Christmas.) Brian Ashcraft
