Words, they fail us. All that we are able to mutter is a "Mario" and a "pink" before cocking our heads sideways in attempts to understand what exactly is going on here. This we know: This car was spotted in Singapore and it's very, very pink. There are plush toys of various Nintendo characters strewn about inside, Nintendo-themed stickers on the outside as well as PSPs in the back seat. PSPs? How odd. With those stickers and stuffed toys, shouldn't they, you know, know?! More »

Kotakuite Zhao snapped these pics at his local Fry's Electronics of some spiffy Mario Kart remote control cars. Pretty cheap at $14.99 but I would probably keep it on the shelf after it's maiden voyage around my kitchen floor rather than run the risk of it getting bashed, scuffed or otherwise ruined. I did a little snooping about the web and a few specialty sites carry these as well as Yoshi and Donkey Kong versions. There also seems to be two different types, a smaller one with a transistor radio looking control and one with a remote that looks like a little GameCube controller. The larger GameCube controller version is about twice the price of the other, but Fry's looks like their price for the smaller version ($14.99) beats the price of the internet by a few dollars($18.95). Don't forget the batteries! More »

Confession: I want a Mini Cooper. Passé, I know. Even this horribly gaudy/tacky Xbox 360-mobile that popped up in Singapore contest looks pretty neat. The car was driven around the country and parked in secret locations. Folks who spotted it got a chance to compete for Project Gotham Racing 3 goodies, but not the Cooper. No Mini? Come on. Brian Ashcraft More »
